Welcome to the home of WheelMUD, we continue to be a project dedicated to the creation of a Windows based MUD server built using .net framework 4.0 and C#
As much as I like GURPS, we don't have the experience right now to get this thing converted quickly. So, I spent about a week reviewing Open License gaming systems for use in WheelMUD. I came across Warrior, Rogue, and Mage and was blown away at the simplicity of the game mechanics, while allowing complex interactions. In the space of a few nights, I got the stats, skills, and talents converted into a format that WheelMUD's gaming engine can consume. I even got the first true usage of the rule class/object. This is all loading from disk now. The code is also in our repository.
I'm want to use Warrior, Rogue, and Mage as a reference for future MUD admins and builders.
Comcast fixed the outage, so we are back to normal. Let 'er rip! Thanks, Your invisible and friendly system administrator.
There has been a neighborhood wide disruption of the Comcast Internet service. Consequently, the Dev Logs and Subversion will be unavailable, until this is solved. A Comcast technician has been dispatched and should be in the neighborhood in about one hour.
I will make another announcement, once the service has been restored. Thanks, Your invisible and friendly system administrator.
The title translates in to "Happy Mage King Day!" In most Spanish-speaking cultures, the 6th of January is when the arrival of the 3 mage kings that visited baby Jesus is celebrated. This is basically on par with Christmas on English-speaking nations.
Happy New Year!
¡Feliz Año Nuevo!
Feliç Any Nou!
