Welcome to the home of WheelMUD, we continue to be a project dedicated to the creation of a Windows based MUD server built using .net framework 4.0 and C#
I was finally able to get SharpForge to work on my server. The latest version of this software is sweet! I'm still tweaking the look and feel of that, but at least the correct logo is showing up now.
You can get to it by navigating to:

I'm hoping to see things like:
Just a quick announcement to let people know that the source code has been moved back to wheelmud.net away from Codeplex. They have a great system over there, but unfortunately they are geared to use TFS as their source control system rather than Subversion. They do provide some bridging software but it was causing us untold grief. We were spending a fair amount of time trying to debug why we couldn't commit changes when we should really have been writing WM code.
So we saw sense and have moved the repository back here.
Code is available at svn://svn.wheelmud.net/WheelMUDSharp/trunk
Just wanted to let people know that the new WheelMUD code is moving along very well. There's a lot of activity over at the CodePlex site for WheelMUD. The rooms and mobs are now loading. There's a rudimentary mob AI as well. The infrastructure for remote administration is laid out, and ready for the next phase.
The only problem we seem to have is with CodePlex itself. We are using the SvnBridge application to connect with their source control using Subversion tools. I've had to patch SvnBridge several times in order to be able to do normal svn activities. It has been quite frustrating, but at least I have access to SvnBridge's code, so that I can patch it whenever something falls on its face.
All in all, I'm very pleased about where WheelMUD is headed.
I'm in the process of moving the code to be hosted on CodePlex. This way the code won't be hostage to my home connection. I'll post more details once the site at CodePlex gets published. The url will be http://www.codeplex.com/wheelmud
And yes, this means that we will start working on WheelMUD very soon.
I'm happy to announce that I have launched WheelForge. This is a 3rd party WheelMUD project site.
